You (only) must have a real 1541 disk drive

to do this operation. No PC device can read/write 5.25" CBM formatted disks.
If you own a 1541 disk drive, you can transfer your files using a special program (I suggest STAR COMMANDER) running in the PC, while connecting the drive with the parallel port of your PC. The cable is known as X1541

copy files from VC1541 to PC

Dear Experts,
I'd like to copy my C64 BASIC files from a VC1541 disk drive formatted floppy to PC to run my files there. I haven't been successfull with the C64 emulation programmes, they can't read the floppy.
Can you help me?
