 Re: Structured Programming

Basic is quite a powerful language. It was easy to learn it in the childhood and gives the basics to really understand the basics of programming. happy Probably hence the name happy Even today, I mostly use VBA to generate assembly code and do all kinds of stuff and knowing the "old" basic was quite enough to start using VBA.

 Structured Programming

Just a note, most probably you all already knew it.
I just recently bought a book "High level BASIC programming on C64". It has a lot of good tips and tricks for more efficient and faster BASIC programs. A great book.

There was a section talked about strucured programming and linked a BASIC extension contains all the must to have elements, called STRUKTO 64.
I read though the section, and I can say C16 BASIC v3.5 has all the functions, except the Subrutines could be called with Name, and the selective selection of program segments/answers with CASE command.
Even the toolkits (Auto, renumber, Track, help, etc functions) are all very similar to our V3.5.
