 Re: Krakout +4

I knew only the newer version.
I felt it was a pretty good conversion, with some TCFS flavour happy
I have to admit, I preferred the C64 SID version. The C64 music already a little chaotic, then the music's TED version is more in the category of annyoing happy

@Csabo: I know it's very early work, it just brought back memories. But now I am surprised: I did not know this Krakout version before! I will have a look. Thanks for the tip. happy

 Re: Krakout +4

@BSZ This particular one is very early work from TCFS, and I don't think it was intended to be a port. He later released Krakout, which is actually a port of the C64 version. So... "challenge accepted", because it already exists; have you seen that one?

I liked the ZX Spectrum version. Clean and tidy and the ball movement tends to be smoother in monochrome.

 Re: Krakout +4

Oh, how nice that it came up in the games of the day! I used to really like the C64 version, which is why I used to go to a friend's to play it. This plus/4 version was unfortunately a disappointment afterwards, but the bar is really too high. happy I'd be very curious to see what Master TCFS could make of the subject now, in 2023. grin

(But it would be nice to see a "challenge accepted" response here later. grin )
