 Re: Turbo for SD2IEC

Well now it's happened. We have an initial SJLOAD for our systems. I just did briefly see it in the news section. But apart from that had no idea it's been around since last month. Just saw a post on Facebook and I'm like, huh? Thanks to member BSZ for the effort. Cheers. grin

 Re: Turbo for SD2IEC

That you for all help (and also for kind words). It is pretty hard for a newcomer find an answer regarding "turbo sd2iec" on this website and also the forum, via the simple search menu.
If I understood correctly, till now is only one end-user, rom-based solution and no other ready-to-use tool, like "simple" system-basic-resident utility, the very first program on the sd card, used as a quick system loader for other programs...

But if you take a little time and browse the more than 300 forum posts, which are actually in not too much topics, you can easily find everything there is to know.

 Re: Turbo for SD2IEC

I guess cause the forum search is not that good happy "Turbo SD2IEC" or "SD2IEC Turbo" brings up precisely nothing. I searched for just "SD2IEC", which brings up the hardware page, which also has... almost nothing on it. Someone who knows what's up with it (I don't) should add some info there. (E.g. what is it, where to buy, how to use, what turbos work, etc.)

 Re: Turbo for SD2IEC

Yes, it is called JiffyDOS. You can buy either the ROM image or the actual ROM to be installed. Or you could port the SJLoad software that exists for C64, VIC20 and C128. Or for demo making purposes you may use Krill's IRQ loader which is also supported by the latest firmwares.

(Why, oh why nobody takes the time and tries to find the answer to these zillion times asked questions? Don't take it personal SC.)

 Turbo for SD2IEC

Hi, does exist a turbo loader that works with the SD2IEC in the Plus/4 (also with a filebrowser...)? I tried several loaders from this side, especially these for the 1541, but all failed. Thanks SC.
