They are MOS Tech.. they send me pictures. Date codes around 33rd-44th month in 84.

I want to get the 8501s also so I can get the unit price down since they have a min order price.

I got the information back the chips they "have". I told them MOS Technologies..
They say they are MOSEL VITELIC. Either they are real and they think they are MOSEL VITELIC or they are a chips that MOSEL VITELIC sells that have the same part numbers.
I had asked for a description and they told me 48 pin DIP. Not sure what to think at this time.
Maybe I can get pictures.
Still waiting to hear back.

I might be able to get 7 8360R1/R2 chips and some 8501R1 chips (like 20).
Would people be interested in some of these chips?
8501 would be like $10 each
8360 would be around $15 each
Prices US. shipped from US.
I am just making sure they are MOS chips etc etc...
