The disk crack is likely a part of an different disk crack or version, which we're currently missing. The file "ZIP3" which has been renamed "TRANSECTOR INTRO", and the other files (ZIP1 through ZIP5) are missing. The disk crack has an addition line on the title screen, not present in either the APS or the Bug-Byte version:
