|  Description | This is a software synthesizer prototype that has two oscillators (2 voices) and a master volume control, just like TED has. Both oscillators produce square waveform (no noise waveform at the moment).
What is different compared to the TED audio is that this softsynth is capable of producing bass sounds. It has a wider frequency range than SID from about 16 Hz to 15.8 KHz: ten octaves. In the demo both voices are slided down to make a laser-like sound effect.
The only problem with the softsynth is that the oscillators are not stable, i.e. the set frequencies wobble quite badly. That is something I'm hoping to fix in the future. |
