SPACE DEFENDER A game by Giuseppe Mignogna for the Commodore 16 and Plus/4 v1.3 (09/1986 -> 08/2021)
===================================== INTRO ===================================== A little game I wrote when I was a kid, in 1986. I improved it a little bit and then I compiled it. The result is not too bad, so I decided to publish it. This compiled version should run on both C16 and Plus/4, even if I tested them only with Yape 1.1.7 and plus4emu 1.2.9.2, not on the real machine. Source code for CBM prg Studio is also available.
===================================== GAME OBJECTIVE ===================================== The objective of the game is to destroy the incoming horde of aliens, using a blasting double laser cannon. You must be very quick in deciding where to move the cannon, either up or down, since each laser can be moved only half along the whole axis. Every 5000 points a bonus life is earned.
===================================== CONTROLS ===================================== To play the game, use a joystick in port 2. To choose the difficulty level, move up or down. To start the game, press fire. To move the cannon, move up or down. To shoot, press fire.
