| | Description | This simple program will allow you to practice to increase your reading speed.
It shows, line by line, a text on the screen, making visible at any moment only the part that must be observed by your eyes. In this way the movement of the latter is guided, allowing you to learn to focus better on what you read without wasting your attention. The length of the displayed text portion can be increased or decreased as desired by acting respectively on the > and < keys; to change the scrolling speed, use the A (accelerate) and R (slow down) keys. You will thus be able to gradually increase your reading speed until you reach a satisfactory level. The text must be stored in the DATA instructions (lines from 1000 onwards) making sure that each string does not exceed 40 characters. You can replace the message-example entered by us with a text of any length, with the only trick to leave as the last DATA statement the one containing the string "END". |
