Origins Of The Story
Götz-Tobias Heger reveals the origins of this adventure game.

The full title of this game's original C64 version is:"TKKG - Das leere Grab im Moor", released in 1985 under the label Europa Computer-Club.

"TKKG" is the title of a commercially successful German audio drama, and the acronym stands for "Tarzan/Tim, Karl, Klößchen and Gaby", the four members composing the starring group. Despite being famous, this drama series didn't deserve a proper release during the product's heydays, as other similars had, both on tape and vinyl, and on CD later on.

In the beginning of the series TKKG, the publishing music label Europa Computer-Club, today belonging to Sony Music, has tried to sell games according to the stories. That was an easy and favourable task, because in the '80ies most of the spoken stories were sold on cassette tapes too, hence they they already had the right machines to produce and distribute software on cassettes, which were a very popular medium among home computer owners in Europe.

"TKKG: Das leere Grab im Moor" is the third story of TKKG, and it was later on released on CD:
