Nothing, a lot of items in the game are red herrings.
I went to the first floor, tripped and fell. How do I proceed?
You must have a light source with you.
I got a candle, but the game doesn't seem to understand any words related to lighting it!
The candle will be automatically lit when you also have the matches.
