Hi Lion,
sorry for the long delay... I had an EXTENDED WEEKEND :) I guess, I got about 3 Disks full of bug free 100% C16 Games. The list is still on paper as I took notes while transfering/playing. Furthermore, I don't have any plus/4 - PC link stuff, yet. However, I could mail you copies of those disks. (I need your address, then!)

Remember the TESTBIT feature? It does something (also including the COLOR RAM) in TEXT MODE. I didn't have the time to figure out what, though.
Concerning the BITMAP MODE you were right: $1800... is ANDed with the BITMAP "CHAR" POSITION (e.g. $2000-$2007 = 00)
PALS, NTSCS, SECAMS A/B, SPALS, and HDTVS!
I messed a bit (or a byte) with $ff1d... It resulted in a black vertical bar which crossed the entire screen. It was about 2 chars wide. It also moved the text "window" 2 chars to the left. (I did this on a monochrome screen, so I can't say anything about COLORS.) Was it a dislocated horizontal retrace or what?
