Howdy,
missed me lots, huh? I wasn't able to get here for about three weeks
'cause I had better (Better than plus/4? YESSS!) things to do. One has to set priorities. Anyway, here are several answers to different guyz and topics...

LION Yes, the CBM shredder abd typewriter were new. I couldn't find any manafuctering date on the box, but a delivery label said Aug 97.

Arthur Noid...
That game sucks big time... Try playing DIGITAL BALL by MAD (Kosir Attila)
or REFLEX which is one of the last "commercial" plus/4 games and not very well spread. I was working on a "+" version, with SID background music and stuff like that. Then I formatted my source disk :)

LUCA I got the interview questions and the logo compo invitation... I'll send private answers as soon as possible. However, the term just started and my schedule is pretty packed. Well, I'm going to drop some classes if they turn out to be boring as hell. And believe me, many History courses tend to be a bit boring :)

CAMERON About the MAGIC DESK on plus/4... I didn't say that there was a special plus/4 version. I just quoted an article which reported about the CeBit
1984 where the plus/4 (and C64) Magic Desk was presented. Next time I'll be home (probably for X-mas) I'll get that magazine and scan the article.
Maybe a Xerox copy will be better... then, I'll need your snail mail address :)

The new C64...
Well, I don't know what to think about it... Around '89 there was a "PC in a keyboard"... I never heard of it again. Probably, because you couldn't really upgrade it. Nowadays, with Internet around, a keyboard computer might be more useful... I just had the chance to get my fingers on an i-mac, excellent design, but the internal CD ROM looks really crappy.
Talking about CD ROMS...

Does anyone know a really good IDE CD ROM drive (big internal buffer!)? I tried almost every drive available at the stores around here but none worked together with my IDE CD BURNER when copying AUDIO CDs on the fly.
(I know, I should've gotten a SCSI one but I didn't want to rob a bank!)
This only happens with AUDIO CDs... The CD ROMs I tested can't even produce OK track images. The burner does fine.

Well, that's it...

See ya,
Chicken
