Success!!!

I have successfully sampled and loaded...

Finders Keepers, Beach Head, Kikstart, Treasure Island, Space Sweep,
Invaders, Street Olympics and Bounder.

Well cool! At last we can take over all the missing games.

This isn't to say its simple mind... you seem to have the same sort of tape problems you used to have.

The sample must be a good clear mono sample.. no simple feat. It must also have no "dips" anyother problems that would stop in being loaded on a REAL plus/4.

The volume must be consistant throughout... and there should be no slight "echos" to it.. (as I had with one sample package).

Also.. even when you have this... theres an adjuster (just like the tape head screw in fact) inside minus/4. Form VERY crisp/acurate to wide range...

Still... if you can meet all these..(and once you get used to it.. it IS fairly simple..) It all works! EVEN the turbo loaders! Custom loaders and whatever else they managed to do! Even multi loads should work fine!

Once its loaded in you can then take a FREEZE of the game and delete the sample... Or, hack into it... and save it out as a .PRG (well..
you WILL be able to onec I add a SAVE to the debugger :-)

I seem to have lost most of my games.. (I've prob packed them away for moving house... Pooh...) so I look forward to playing the rest of the games still left on tape out there!

This happened just in time infact, since my tape drive just died on me! :-)
