What sort of scroller are you guys using on XeO3? It might be possible to implement a TED version of the DMA delay scroller, as used very successfully on Mayhem in Monsterland on C64. On TED, this would allow colour even better than on C64, as there is no problem of a fixed 1K colour RAM.
