Val,
It's easier than that if you associatein Windows.
If you want to change your association for .d64
from CBMdisk.exe to viewd64 an easy way would be to put viewd64.exe in the same directory as you now have CBMdisk.exe and just change the name of the file that opens .d64 to viewd64.exe by using the "edit" option under folder options in "My computer"
under "View" under "filetype".
