Well, if you have a look at the source of the page downloaded from nexus,
you can see that nexus puts a "header" to the top of the page. It contains some javascript codes and an <img src=.... width="1" height="1" border="0"
align="right"> tag to show an ad banner. This last one causes the background not to appear in IE4.0 for e.g.. If you could put the <body background="c64nside.gif" bgproperties=fixed> tag before that one the background would appear but you can't... :) I think it's just an IE bug...
(one of those millions ;) It doesn't exist in IE5.5.
So... you should write an e-mail to nexus or change to an other free web site. (www.swi.hu)
