That fuse ought to be for the 9 volts circuit anyway, and the LED uses the
5 volt supply. According to one of the schematic diagrams at
<URL:http://www.funet.fi/pub/cbm/schematics/computers/c64/>, the pin-out is: 1,2,3=GND, 4,5=VCC, 7,6=9 volts AC (between pins 7 and 6, not e.g.
between GND and pins 7 or 6).

Is there a plus/4 power supply with a round connector? I thought they use square 4-pin connectors. It's better that you measure the voltages from to be sure.
