But let's start a technical discussion. Today I wrote a simple VIC-20
program that switches fonts on every interlaced half-frame. (Too bad that only the 6560 supports the interlace mode, it'll work only on NTSC. But anyway, go to http://www.funet.fi/pub/cbm/vic20/programming/ and have a look, if you are interested.) A long time ago, Levente was experimenting with interlacing on the plus/4. Did it ever become anything, or was it too difficult to convince the TV when to start the 2nd half-frame? (I remember that Andreas Boose once told me that the C64's video chip always sends the signal "just finished the 2nd half-frame" after each frame.)
