| X--1541 cable and 1541-II?
I have an XE-1541 cable hooked up to a Commodore 1541-II drive. Copying individual files is fine, but I cannot copy a whole disk image (D64) to a floppy without a 'disk full' error.
Has anyone else had this problem? I formatted the diskettes on a 128D, and the 1541-II has no problem reading these or any of my old Plus/4 disks that are 15+ years old. (This seems to eliminate an alignment problem.)

| Mmmhh, I normally use StarCommander with
all the features, but I have no problem. Have you tried to change the speed (from Warp to Turbo, or else from Turbo to Normal)? If this is not the case, you can contact Joe Foster, author of StarConmmander at: sta@c64.org.
P.S. - I use a X1541 cable (not XE1541).
