|  Plus 4: Best looking 8 bit Commodore computer?
I thought that the different design of the Commodore Plus 4 was much better than the traditional breadbin shape that most of the other 8-bit machines Commodore made had. The slimmer casing, the slightly more compact shape, the ultra-cool arrow shaped cursor keys. It was surely the best looking, if not the most successful. What do other C= owners think?

I Think It was too good for its time... The design of C64 was more than simply terrible. How could anybody use its cursors keys?!

Very nice design for the Plus/4 indeed, even with today's standards! I've gotten some nice reactions from people I showed my Plus4's, and of course the total shocker somes when you tell them that's NOT a keyboard, that's a WHOLE COMPUTER (Okay, I know about the peripherals, but this thread is about praising the plussy.)

I preferred the design of the C16 over the Plus/4. It had a lot better keyboard. Visually my favourite was the C116. It was so small...

The best looking is probably the new C64 design.
But the most usable is the C+4, as the cursor keys are designed for humans

I screamed with shock when I bought the funky new look C64 because the SID was playing up. The classic Ocean Loader 4 did not sound right, samples from games like Robo Cop, Ghouls'n'Ghosts and Turbo OutRun etc.. were very quite. I took mine back and got another which was the same lmao!!
When I was shopping for C16/Plus4 games I was playing the C64 demo machines so grew up along side the C64 even though I didn't own one till 1989-ish. In the end I got a breadbox second hand and never looked back because SID ment everything to me. Little did I know Commodore replaced the SID's for a number of years later, but I always knew something wasn't right.. 
My vote goes to the C16, the grey was cool. It was the machine advertized on TV xmas 1984 and it cought my attention, but I ended up with a Plus/4 that year. hahah!!!
Indeed the Plus/4 was the most perfect of keyboards, but I have a soft spot for the C16 too.

Well, as a die-hard c64 user i must say i have no problems with the c64 curserkeys at all.
It's just what you're used to i guess.
Thats why i had some trouble with my first 486 PC, trying to use the left cursor key as a shift key, probably a million times or so  before
i got used to separate cursor keys.

I have a +4 and c116 side by side on my desk and I think they are both the best looking Micros ever released. I can't make up my mind which one I like more the +4 or the c116.
By the way I have a c16, c64, yamaha MSX, toshiba MSX, SVI 728, amstrad 664, amstrad 6128, TI-99/4A, oric, vz-200, vz300, sega sc-3000H, zx spectrum.
And I still think the +4 and c116 are the best looking of the lot.
