First of all make sure that you play the version that starts with the G#### address, or load it from the TAP. On rulez.org there are two additional cracks that are actually bugged.
Differences? First of all: the ground is red  The items, keys, vehicles, the fact that the Palyars and Mechanoids are at war are ALL THE SAME. It's just a different, and definitely more difficult city.
When you go to the first hangar to hear the job offer (which is in 08-01, not 09-06), take the door that leads to the corridor with the cobweb. At the end of the corridor there's a door. You enter it, and you are in prison. Ouch! And only after a few minutes of gameplay!
