This was due to the shop having computers hidden in the back where they would test any games that would be deemed to be faulty. Or games brought back because they were crap. Posted By MIK on 2000-10-04  Whooh. Erasing part of the tape was a bit naughty I remember it took some time before they cought on to what was going on. In time WHSmiths soon put posters up saying you could only swap it for the same game With todays games they seem abit easyer to take back. After all 30-40 pounds is alot of money and if they want your custom they give in. Gone are the days when you bought more than 1 game aweek.
