Great ideas! I'm into the 4th day of coding. I thought about posting daily updates here, but I guess that's too much. There's a lot of progress, but my to-do list keeps growing 
I think I'll try to get it into a playable state with all the current (substantial) changes, and then send it for play-testing and balancing.
