bszggg: I downloaded both links and plan to try them soon. Hargar: I am just looking to load games, and I have two real 1541/-II drives at my mother's house and am expecting a fastload cartridge in the mail.  I really want either real cartridges or a hardware-based cartridge emulator. Thank you both.
BTW, yesterday evening, I found on eBay somebody selling a lot of C64 cartridges.
