| FileBrowser in ROM
Hi everyone.
I've just got myself a Plus/4 and was wondering if CBMFileBrowser has been put into a rom so it's easily accessible? I've got an eprom burner and as have two free rom slots seeing as one of my 3+1 rom's is dead.

So:
- Here is a ROM image of the FB16 filebrowser. This should work in all the Low slots: Function Low, C1 Low, C2 Low. You can start the FB with the key shown on the BASIC screen or, even before BASIC starts, by keeping Shift (or Caps Lock) pressed at startup/reset. - Here is a modified KERNAL image where TEDMON has been replaced by FB16. It also includes a modified BASIC image where the MONITOR command is replaced by a new BROWSER (or B{Shift+R}) command. If using the standard BASIC ROM, FB can still be run with the MONITOR (or M{Shift+O}) command. FB can also be started at startup/reset by holding RUN/STOP. Note that this version of FB lacks some features because of ROM space constraints, mainly alphabetical sorting of the entries.
These things are quite experimental, please report if they work well or if you encounter any issues. 2 |

Super! Works very nice. It gives again a good reason for multikernal installations |

That is very cool development! Thanks for it! When I get the chance to test it, I'll test on real machine too.
That is really fascinations! |

I borrowed an eprom burner half an hour ago. and I test it.. and it has started at drive 00 not drive 8 So I have to use the "D" to select drive first. Otherway it works perfectly. (I put into my machine place of 3-1 rom for the test) Nice work the rom bank autodetect too! ;) so that's kind of "Whoa"! |

Did you have a disk inserted in the drive?
The bank autodetect code comes from @siz, he is the wizard! |
