Still a nice tool, but ECM character mode still does not work (potentially it could the ECM editor for our platform, unfortunately Luca's tool is too complex for my single minded personality).
I just downloaded and tested it. All the colors could be selected with it's highest luminance, and even the colours are mixed up, as it uses C64 palette in Plus/4 ECM mode.
(but the mode does now work in C64 mode too, the background color change does nothing)
Few years ago I gave some donations to solve this matter, but unfortunately no change happened. But I see a lot of new features and platformes were added, so I see the author was not lazy, just had different focus.

My choice for assembler is CBM PRG Studio.
Charsets and related stuff I've been generating in MS Excel lately... Which might (not) come as a surprise for some/many. <:eyeroll:>

OFF: one of my past colleague after an European tour (visiting several factories for best practices) told:
"It is unbelievable, but the best practice in SAP is to use everywhere MS Excel tables."
It seems to be an all-round tool for anyone, for anything

some issues require experienced help = a person who is both a programmer AND who is familiar with the issue you describe AND who knows precisely how to solve or address the issue AND.... contacts CpStudio developer AND offers to help him with information AND experience...
