 Adventure save game

When playing adventures, is there any way to save and load a position in a game?

 Re: Adventure save game

Depends on if you're playing on the real machine, or an emulator (and if the emulator supports disk writes).....

Usually SAVE GAME will save your current position and stats, and some games will ask upon loading if you wish to load a saved game. Others you have to enter RESTORE or LOAD GAME to reload your saved data.

If you could provide specific game titles and your computer setup (real or emulated machine, emulator name and version or available disk drives, etc), I'm sure we can help.

Thanks. I meant any emulated adv. games that you can find on this site in the Games/Adventure section i.e. Robin of Sherwood, Circus etc.

I could use any emulator i.e. YAPE or VICE etc.

I have a Windows Me PC.

With the emulators, it can be done, and it's very easy. The function you are looking for is called "Save Snapshot" in both emulators you mentioned, and they are available from the menu. When you save a snapshot, it contains the machine's state at that moment, so you can load it back later. Do it before doing something risky. Also works great with action games. It's the ultimate cheat happy
