Should do as there is a good half inch gap, the copper style flap contact that sits on Ted to take the heat to the shield is bendy.
That said, if heat sinks are on the Ted then I doubt the shield top is being used and that leaves the question what if Ted has heat sinks - the added hight might be a squeeze with the keyboard. If that's a problem then some small spacers sat on the screw holes could lift the top case/keyboard up a few millimetres, may require slightly longer screws to do it.
