@gerliczer:Interesting idea! But I don't think it is that "simple". Remember: the Joy's select line controlled by the data lines directly! Select is not only active in the $FF08 write cycle. Select pulses also come during normal program execution or TED's video data fetch!
@Mad: There is no easy way for this, I think. Although I might be missing something.
