Black screen of Death (as many Commodore machines).

Hello,
I would like to repair a(nother) Plus/4.
In this case I get a Black screen of Death.
As usual I do not have the skills in electronic so I ask for your help.
I have the Diag64 tool I used with other Plus 4s and I get the BSoD even with the diag mounted (the chip, not the card).
I have "touched" the chips and I "feel" that some chips are hot... the 8551 being the hottest but also the 8501, the 251641-02 and the 317054-01. The TED is hot but not like the other (I have a "thermo-gun" but today the battery decided to die, bad day).
What could preventing a Plus/4 to completely start (with a Diag64 chip inserted)?
I suppose that the Diag64 should make the computer start even if there are errors in RAM so it should be something else, right?
Thank you

The general rule of thumb...
If you see anything on screen the CPU is fine, if you see nothing the CPU is normally the chip that is faulty.

Sometimes if the CPU dies it can also kill the Ted, not always but it can happen.

There are a lot of items that can cause the blank screen. Cheapest option is to remove the U23 and U24, these chips are used for the +4 extra software.
I had these 2 chips replaced and a new PLA that fixed my blank screen
