@gerliczer: Thanks! That was my point in asking if I may combine the "brokenTED" and "workingTED" routine into one. A routine which just works for broken TED would not be what I would need.. Maybe I didn't understood it.. That's why I was asking.. Maybe only the $ffff write is needed for the normal working TEDs, too? I would need a very small routine to cover both cases (broken/notbroken).. Seems like in the border no "wait for.." is needed, because idle byte is read anyways (like on VIC)? This hardware related stuff is beyond my knowledge, sorry.. Memory refresh is done in every scanline, or? Then testing $ff1e may help. Got no info about that, yet.. I really would like to implement this routine in a tiny version for further projects..
