Well, this is 10 degrees of awesomeness!!!
I have many bad TED's and had 3 to hand that I new had broken latches. These are the culprits.
TED A works with the new algorithm. 
TED B works with the new algorithm.
and TED C works with the new algorithm.
You have to tell me how this works. I am very familiar wit hthe issue from my work on Diag264, so would love to somehow incorporate this.
