According to the shop page device number can be changed with DOS commands - which is unfortunate because plus/4 kernal always tries 1551 first. It seems that device number switches/pads are not included in this design.
You can still change your 1551 to #9 then your SD2IEC to #10 and 1551 back to drive #8 but to do this after every power cycle is a bit... inconvenient.
But you should ask the seller before purchase or choose a different design.
