Hi marcos64! A napokban teszteltem a CRASH-Plus4-ben (256KBytes) a tartalék COMMODORE MOS IC-ket. A régebbi javításokból maradt JOY-bemenet hibás TED IC-k is működtek ;ugyan az egyik csak fekete-fehérben illetve véletlenszerűen színesben (szivárvány) játszott ,DE működött ; a második teljes színben pompázott! Amikor végeztem a tartalék (CPU-TED-FPLA(Chip Selector)-BASIC-KERNAL-RAM) alkatrészekkel ,még egyszer ki akartam a tesztelésnek használt CRASH-plussyt próbálni........HÁT jött a technika ÖRDÖGE!!! Mivel a tesztelések alatt többször ki kellett kapcsolni a gépet az ESD védelem miatt ;vajon melyik alkatrésznek nem tetszett? Az első pár vissza kapcsolásoknál hasonló ábrák jelentek meg a képernyőkön mint NÁLAD! AZ ötödik visszakapcsolás után már csak sötét képet kaptam. Az hibás IC-t EREDETI(!) FPLA(Chip-Selector) IC-vel cserélve ,ismét jól működik a CRASH-Plus4! Tehát NÁLAD is alaposan átkell vizsgálni az FPLA(Chip-Selector) IC-t és környékét! Ez az IC is egyik legfontosabb funkciót képviseli a C16-Plus4 gépekben! GOOD-Bytes! HiFiofTLT

Hi marcos64! I recently tested the backup COMMODORE MOS ICs in CRASH-Plus4 (256KBytes). The two TED I had left over from earlier (with defective joy plugs) worked, although one only worked in black and white or randomly in color (rainbow); the second worked in gorgeous full color! When I was done with the spare (CPU-TED-FPLA (Chip Selector) -BASIC-KERNAL-RAM) parts, I wanted to try the CRASH-plus used for testing once again ........ Well, this is when the "devil in technology" came !!! Since the machine had to be switched off several times during the tests due to ESD protection, which part do you think disliked that? For the first few times turning it back on, I got similar images on the screens as YOU did! After the fifth turning on, I only got a dark picture. Replacing the faulty IC with an ORIGINAL (!) FPLA (Chip-Selector) IC, the CRASH-Plus4 works well again! So you too need to thoroughly inspect the FPLA (Chip-Selector) IC and its surroundings! This IC is also one of the most important functions in the C16-Plus4 machines! GOOD-Bytes! HiFiofTLT
