JiffyDOS for the 1551 is absolute pointless. JiffyDOS is a protocol to speed up serial routines while maintaining compatibliity with all the existing drives and supporting multiple devices on the bus. Yes, the TCBM protocol of the 1551 could be sped up with custom KERNAL and drive DOS but that has nothing to do with JiffyDOS. And gerliczer is right: the bottleneck of JiffyDOS speed is the speed of the drive mechanics not (only) the protocol.
And I'd kindly like to ask everyone to avoid switching the TED between PAL and NTSC in their software because my RetroTink 2x loses sync every time that happens. That's why I had to patch JiffyDOS plus/4 to remove $ff1d writes.
