Well, really nice pictures!
Seems sooner or later I have to state C128 as a winner 
( Anyhow, VDC gfx IC alone has equal RAM to Plus/4, and planned for a Z8000 professional UNIX computer
Red color: actually I think TED's real weakness is the missing intensive colors. Red, Orange, Brown, Yellow...
(next to the chance to have 16 different grey shades)
With such intensive colors (like Spectrum and CPC) more pictures could be more easily converted to our machine.
