1541-II works fine on PC with the cable.

Would you know if it will work on PC with your cable you made. Yet to try on PLUS4.
I'll have to suff and see what info I can find. I have no manual, but that's not a bother

| Differences
The design!  And there are some differences in the internal software. For instance with the 1541-II you cannot load "Monty on the Run" on C64. Probably there are some hardware differences, but I don't know them.
