 Just wondering...

...I've noticed that Wolf Pack, UXB and Gnasher don't have .TAP files, and Wolf Pack and UXB don't have covers either. I have all these games somewhere, is it worthwhile getting .TAP's and scans of them? happy

Absolutely! We would love to have those... happy If you find them and have the time, TAP'em and scan'em, they will find a good home here at Plus/4 World, and will be appreciated by many!

Ulysses777 your now looking into the scarry stuff I haven't done yet. All 3 are normal loaders and yep they take time to create and test. Looking at a blue screen is head doing and then to find out it does'nt work on plus4 let alone the TAP is even more of a nightmare wink

If you get the time that would be cool. Some day I'll get back into gear and do aload more.

Kind regards,

 Done...

Here are the TAP's...

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ulysses777/uxb.tap.zip
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ulysses777/wolfpack.tap.zip

And here are the covers...(I've got higher res scans if needed happy )

Note that only UXB has a completely normal 'blue' loader.

Wolf Pack seems to have an normal loader, but it loads one program which then loads another program (and turns the screen purple). It's also a bit erratic, sometimes there's a cursor flashing, sometimes not. This happens on both my Plus4 and on Yape. Another strange thing about the tape itself, is that it's completely inaudiable on a normal cassette player. (But I know nothing about how tapes actually work happy )

Gnasher has a turbo loader which I could only get to work in a halfwave TAP.

That shows you the last time I loaded Gnasher up (many years ago). Golf and Skelby from YES! Software don't have turbos wink

The higher res covers would be cool if you could be so kind. What DPI did you scan at? Looking at your piccys they look great. My scanner was cheap so I jumped upto 300DPI so i did'nt get the odd colour clash lines in the picture as seen on some older scans wink

Cheers!

 Hi-res covers

Hi, I've finally sorted out the hi-res covers, you can get them here and here. (suggest you right-click and "save target as...")

(Images are 1.44MB and 1.16MB respectively, 600 DPI) happy
