You are right. Load the game, run/stop + reset, then D1136... It uses a routine at $0200. That's one of the areas that doesn't even survive run/stop + reset. Everyone probably just saved the game from $1000 + up. (And it seems to work, too  ) Also, the fact that the game starts with G1000 is just a coincidence, the loader jumps to $1002. |
