As to your question: why killing entities scores points in most games - well, you phrased it well enough to avoid the real issue  In most games it's *enemies* you're killing. Usually backstory explicitly says this, or it's just understood, since this is the norm (lonely hero against the Big Bad Evil's wicked army).
Anyway, it's fine, the players recognize the mechanic soon enough, I was just wonder about the "why" and whether I missed something obvious. |
