My Plus/4's joystick ports don't work. Who can fix this? They were not very clever ports, why didn't they use ATARI ports, like the C=64 OR VIC 20? So who can fix the machine?

Hate to say this, but it might very well be the TED itself that's dead, not the ports themselves. The TED dies in interesting ways, and one of my Plus/4s, the joysticks 'up' position do not register.
