|  X1531 cable
I got what is supposed to be the X1531 cable today through the post, but I don't know what is going on. It has a male 6-pin din plug on the end, twice the size of the C16 mini-din plugs. Correct me if I am mistaken, but is this not an X1541 cable? If it is, then I am seriously pissed off.

You are probably right. This page has pictures of how it should look. Plus it does state that on one end it should have the mini-din plug.

Don't sweat it, partner. You can always order a new one  Plus, you can never have enough X1541 cables.

| I may be alright...
I emailed the guy and he apologised, saying that it's the second time he's made that mistake in a thousand sales. I guess I was just unlucky. But, he said that he's going to post me out the X1531 cable right away, so it looks like I'll be alright. I won't believe it until I see the cable in front of me though.
