However, like I said, the Amiga power supply will power a CMD hard drive (which needs 5 and 12 volts). Also it will power a number of Commodore-compatible disk drives, such as the FSD-2 / Excelerator / Blue Chip (not forgetting the 1541-II and the 1581).
If I come to England next year, I can bring you one for your inspection.
