Syntax of V364 Basic command SAY ?

Hi!

I found in commands of Basic 3.5 one command available on V364 only:

SAY

I used SAY 1 or SAY 7 and other numbers and it works, if I write there word it "says" Zero...
So, I mean that it reads value of any variable. I tried to use A$="MIRKOSOFT" and SAY A$...
But there reports: ILLEGAL QUANTITY ERROR and also if I use SAY 27 it "says" other...

So, what a syntax has command SAY and its token?

Thank you for everything!

http://www.floodgap.com/retrobits/ckb/secret/364words.txt

Note that word #20 (ty) does not work when put in quotation marks. You must use it as SAY 20, for example SAY "FIF" : SAY 20 .

No sure if you've seen it...
Crock made an awesome video of his V364 going through all the speech words in turn.

Thank you for link.

I found in Basic that SAY has token $0afe - but for sure I need confirmation.

There is also the RATE command which controls the speed. If you search for details about "Commodore Magic Voice" you will find much more information. Gaia also has a page with a disassembly of the speech ROM.
