my old plus 4 c2n has died but I have a spare c64 one is there an adapter to connect it to my plus 4 there used to be one available??

Yes these do exist but they are almost impossible to find. It might be easier to have one made.

Your reading it wrong this time. 
In short, C16fan's Plus/4 1531 has died, he want's to use a C64 1530 on a Plus/4 and asked if there is an adapter which would be the same one your after.
