Gaia collected the list of known 232 serial numbers a while back:

So, first, AFAIK there's no official documentation or explanation on how the serial numbers were generated. Second, it's not as clear cut as AA5 = 232, since we know of at least one 232 which starts with AA4. It's a bit weird that AA5 000001 would be a regular Plus/4, but not unthinkable IMHO. Where did you see it? |
