Should have. ZX Spectrum 48K has (even with 1 channel only).

The program and the music must fit in 48K RAM (even less) so there is no volume command at all. I "simulated" volumes by adding louder and silent samples.
The procedure has been ported by us into Atari XL (6502 CPU).
