Converting BASIC 3.5 program to the C64?

I'm trying to find a way to convert (or port) a BASIC 3.5 listing to the C64.
I know all the BASIC 3.5 tokens are not going to work... but that's ok.

Is there a program that will convert a BASIC 3.5 program into a text file so that I can edit it? Or is there some other way?

I found a way.

Fairly easy really. Just got to make sure that the program is loaded with ,8 and NOT ,8,1

Some of the BASIC 3.5 tokens come out wrong (COLOR becomes LIST for example)
..but with some editing the program can be backported.

If it's of any use... There is a chance the original basic file may run on a C128 if it's not too complicated without having to be tweaked in some cases.
