Question for Herd: The TED hardware manual states that TED is aimed at low end personal home computers of the 6502 family. Was the TED for sale to other computer manufacturers, or was the TED strictly an in-house resource?
Question for Herd: With the plus 4's user port, expansion port and incomplete PLA addressing (i.e., putting $FD1X on the address bus triggers the PLA FD1X output - the four LSBs could be gotten from the expansion port if wanted for further address breakout) was there any thought that this configuration would become a hobbyist's
playground in terms of adding hardware?
